Project 402. Simulation of international logistics networks

Principal researchers : T.G. Crainic, W. Rei
Postdoctoral researcher : M. P.L. Takouda
Students : O. Deslauriers-Gadboury (MBA-Research)

The current project aims to simulate international supply networks for major retail companies. We use dynamic numerical simulation in discrete time. Our goal is to simulate the flows of information, decisions and products in such systems, in order to assess their impact on logistics capacity, costs and customer service under different hypotheses related to the organization, policies and resources of the company, its partners and its suppliers.
